Slash, formerly of Guns N ‘Roses, is preparing to record in April

slashSlash, of Guns N'Roses, will produce his first solo album which release date is scheduled for April. The album features unreleased songs in collaboration with Fergie, Chris Cornell and Dave Grohl.

The record of former Guns N'Roses guitarist also holds shares of Ousbourner Ozzy, Ian Astbury, Iggy Pop, among other artists. Slash's first album gets the same name and will be in stores in April. The musician has already indicated in the record that will have contributions from artists from bands like The Cult, Foo Fighters, Soundgarden and Black Eyed Peas.

In addition to the songs with the album, there are other small collaborations with other artists such as Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Cypress

Hill, Nicole Scherzinger (Pussycat Dolls) or Alice Cooper to be edited in different formats after the album's release.

Slash talks about his co-workers who have participated in his latest album, saying: "The idea was much simpler in the beginning. These were all artists who want to work and was very impressed with everything they offered. They were so interested in doing a good job that surprised me. We had great fun doing these songs, "said the ex-Velvet Revolver.
